H-Cap Update

USCIS, as of July 23, 2010, has reported that they have received approximately 26,000 cases towards the H-1b cap, and a little over 11,000 towards the Master's cap.  There are still a good number left, but it is also still unknown if there will be any surge in usage as the year progresses.  Last year the H-1b cap was filed by December of 2009.  If the trend continues, the H cap this year should be used by December at the latest, if not earlier.  Here is the link to the cap count on the USCIS website:
