Update on H visas for 2011

There are still quite a few H-1b visas left for fiscal year 2011 (Starting October 1, 2011).  According to the latest government statistics only about 24,200 of the 65,000 regular H-1b visas have been used so far and only 10,400 of the 20,000 master cap H-1b visas have been used.  These numbers were last updated on July 2, 2010.  You can find these numbers at:  http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.5af9bb95919f35e66f614176543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=4b7cdd1d5fd37210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=73566811264a3210VgnVCM100000b92ca60aRCRD
